In this article, I review the Redgrass Games Everlasting Wet Palette Painter 2 after using it in a variety of commissioned miniature painting projects.

I even found myself switching colors, then going back to the original color, going to get out more paint out of habit and realizing I still had some wet on my palette from before. Whenever I need to use my old tile palette I just place it on top of the closed wet palette, so it's a bit of a space saver. It was so nice to work with, and saved me quite some time mixing paints and frustration over dried up paints.I myself am an absolute fan of the Everlasting Wet Palette, and my old Painter size palette sees daily use. Some artists have had great success with cleaning their palette after each session, while others find that they can get away with every few days. I do think it will appeal more to certain painters than others; experienced painters who already have a wet palette they’re comfortable with using may find little about this product to tempt them (expect perhaps its portability if you travel between painting sessions! The Wavy accessory as mentioned earlier is another nice touch ensuring inks and highly diluted paints can be used in conjunction with the Everlasting Wet Palette whilst avoiding an ever expanding mess.

I was looking at the everlasting wet palette and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice between the v1 and v2. If the paper curles up a bit, as mine did, you can simply use wet your index finger a big and strokes the sides down.Use the palette exactly the same way you use your own wet palette, apply your paint and if necessary a little water, spreading the paint across the surface for differing dilutions or for mixing. Putting your paint on RGG’s Everlasting Wet Palette, though, is like sending your acrylics to the day spa. The old palettes needed the help of an included elastic band to keep a tight seal, while the V2 has a much tighter seal by nature so there is no elastic band needed. For those of you who may not be familiar with what a wet palette is, at its most basic it's a damp sponge of some sort with a piece of parchment paper on top. The Wavy has two small, round magnets, strong pull, that line p with magnets on the palette so as to keep it close to hand and secure, so as to avoid unwanted spills.
