Or, if you’ve sold 100 cakes in three months, set a new goal of selling 500 cakes in the same amount of time!

I do think that Grant Cardone is a little intense for my liking and I prefer to be a little more balanced with my life. The true drive of Be Obsessed or Be Average is to impart Grant's personal approach to life, so that the readers can learn from his process and turn their individual obsessions into their own successes.Our society has this stigma that you need to be on vacation every year, use your PTO and get good deals on trips. The nay sayers are trying to protect themselves from being reminded that they've relegated themselves to average. I know “leader” sounds more inspiring and that the business world wants to talk about leadership—but when thing go wrong, I don’t care about leadership; I want control, or at least to know someone is in control.
