Description

Voyager Class figures are 6.5-inch collectible action figures inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe, now including The Transformers: The Movie! This redeco of the Universe Galvatron toy was aimed at being even more show-accurate than the Henkei version shown above. Galvatron now features metallic blue paint on most of his robot body and metallic red on his abdominal plates. His cannon barrel is completely unpainted and translucent, likewise to better resemble both the show and the original toy. He now has Decepticon insignias on his robot chest and tank turret, for the first time in the history of the mold. It also has the distinction on being the only version of the mold to have a metallic blue turret, further increasing screen accuracy. After a nearly endless war that resulted in the AllSpark parting from Cybertron for good, Kingdom episode 1 Megatron killed Optimus Prime, lamenting that they should have worked together. Afraid of the possibility of this occurring in the past, Unicron enslaved and reformatted Megatron into a life of servitude as Galvatron. Megatron's reformatting was recorded at the end of the Voyager Golden Disk, which Megatron used to record his every action during the Great War. Kingdom episode 5 As the Autobots and Decepticons died out, Unicron and his minions were a constant threat to the Maximals and Predacons that emerged from the uninhabitable Cybertron. Kingdom episode 6

In 2007, Galvatron called off the truce and led an assault on Autobot City, searching for the Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber. Although seemingly lucid during this period, he formulated what was perhaps his most genocidal and unbalanced scheme ever: Having converted Cybertron into a galactic dreadnought, Galvatron maneuvered it into Earth's orbit, planning to release the Plasma Energy Chamber's payload into Earth's sun, Sol. The resulting supernova would wipe both Earth and Cybertron off the face of the galaxy, presumably leaving Galvatron to gain mastery over everything left. Grudgingly teamed with the Transformer- Nebulan hybrid Lord Zarak, Galvatron was eventually defeated and sent tumbling through space, ushering Cybertron into a new Golden Age. The Rebirth, Part 1 Accessories: Two-piece Particle Beam cannon, Matrix of Leadership, chain, 2 "side cannons"/Revenge ships Whilst we will do everything we can to meet the delivery times above, there may be factors outside of our control and we cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame. Universe Galvatron transforms into a tank reminiscent of the Israel Weapons Industries Merkava main battle tank with some design elements taken from Megatron's old Neutro-Fusion Tank. On the tank turret is the slogan "GALV-25", in reference to the Transformers brand's 25th anniversary. In an attempt to bolster the Decepticons' strength, the evil planet-gobbling world Unicron reformed Megatron into a new robot named Galvatron to lead the Decepticons in a new era."If Ironhide, Brawn and Grapple attempted to snatch the ship away from Galvatron, the Decepticons destroyed both the ship and the sphere within to prevent it from falling into Autobot hands. Galvatron now knew that the Autobots were hidden away in nearby caves, and had his Decepticons use their superior firepower to pin them down, leaving them at his mercy. EXPAND YOUR COLLECTION WITH SPECIAL EDITION FIGURES: Generations Selects is a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring special edition characters that can’t be found in the main line Whether he's born from the fires of Unicron himself, an ancient Transformer warlord, or something else altogether, one thing is always certain: Galvatron is a focal point of power and madness given form. He is blind to all but his lust for power; his whims and desires can be sacrificed in a moment's rage. Not even his own subordinates are safe. Though he is not beyond the capacity for long-term goals, it is his unpredictability and casual disregard for any and all life that strike such horror in friend and foe alike. Truly, the Decepticon leader is without any sense of empathy.

In the course of this battle, his defeat at the hands of Rodimus Prime while inside Unicron was alluded to. The Big Broadcast of 2006

Despite all that, a memorial of Megatron can be seen prominently in the Decepticon Crypt in " Starscream's Ghost", implying that the Decepticons who built it considered Megatron to be dead. This could possibly be explained by presuming the Decepticons built the marker before Galvatron returned and seized command, though their window of opportunity to do so was rather slim.
